I was watching Charice singing ‘All By Myself’ on Glee. I looked down and saw this amazing comment under the video. Read it and take a minute to let it sink in. Do you want to stop bullying as much as Ponytail99426?
The Girl you just called fat?
She’s been starving herself & has lost over 30lbs.
The Boy you just called stupid? Has a learning disability & studies over 4hrs a night.
The Girl you just called ugly? Spends hours putting makeup on hoping people will like her.
The Boy you just tripped? He’s abused enough at home.
The girl you called “Jesus Freak”, she spends hours in prayer for you.
There’s a lot more to people than you think. Thumb this up if you’re against bullying! I dare you!!
I’m not going to ask you to ‘reblog’, ‘like’, ‘follow me’, any of that. Just live and breathe this. You could really help someone who is a victim of bullying by standing up and helping them. Are you strong enough and brave enough to do this? Don’t just say ‘yes’, Go out there and make a difference!
I’m going to ask you one more time.
Bullying. Are you going to be part of the problem or part of the answer?
Four years ago, Angie Varona was a 14 year old girl that took semi-nude photos of herself planning to give them to her boyfriend privately. But do you believe she deserved all the hate she has been getting for the last 4 years? And the scum that “get off” looking at her pictures? Can you imagine putting yourself in her position?
I have to say that first of all, I don’t think anyone should be surprised if something they do, write, say or anything involving them, goes public. It’s one of the saddest facts of life which we have to deal with everyday. Someone will eventually find out about it whether you tell them or not.
But Angie got the bad end of the stick. Everyone knows what its like to be a 14 year old. You think that privacy is like a huge vault that no one else can open and you’re the only one who has the code. It’s being young and believing that no one would ever stoop so low to invade your privacy, even people you don’t know. And that’s a very tough lesson to learn especially Angie’s way.
Angie wasn’t the only one who had their whole world fall apart that day. Think about the parents, the rest of the family, her friends, her boyfriend, previous victims of this crime. It just didn’t affect Angie. It took down everyone she loved most with her. She didn’t choose to have all these pictures exploited. Her family and the rest of the people in her life will never be the same again.
So what do you think? Do you think it’s right? Do you think Angie had it coming?

This is for all of you who call me weird, a loser, that make me feel bad about myself, that bully me for supporting people that you don’t like, for hating me because i enjoy different things, or for just hating me as a person. This is me. Deal with it.
And so, this is a little gift from me to you ……
Oh can’t you see
I’m just being me
I can’t be you
And I don’t want to be
Don’t try to get
Inside my head
Cause what you see is what you get
I am what I am
I can’t help myself
And if you don’t like it
Get with somebody else
I’ll never change my ways
It’s not a phase
This is how it is right up until my dying day
- (“I Am What I Am” Jonas Brothers)
Hey, you, over there
Keep the L up, ‘cause I don’t care
You can throw your sticks, and you can throw your stones
Like a rocket, just watch me go
Yeah, l-o-s-e-r
I can only be who I are
Just go ahead and hate on me and run your mouth
So everyone can hear
Hit me with the worst you got and knock me down
Baby, I don’t care
Keep it up, and soon enough you’ll figure out
You wanna be
You wanna be
A loser like me
- (“Loser Like Me” Glee Cast)
lesbian, transgendered life,
I’m on the right track baby,
I was born to survive.
No matter black, white or beige
Chola or orient made,
I’m on the right track baby,
I was born to be brave. ❞
I was looking through my old teen magazines and i noticed a very disturbing thing in these magazines.
These magazines are telling every teenage girl, that you shouldn’t give into peer pressure and its ok to not be perfect. But then, towards the end of the magazine, it was showing celebrities that had cellulite and a celebrity that was sitting down and their stomach wasnt completely hard and flat and said that was fat!
To all you teen magazines out there, DONT say stuff like it doesnt matter what size you are, that nobody is perfect, that you dont “touch up” celebrities to make them look thinner, that teenagers shouldnt give into peer pressure. Because if you actually think you are giving teenagers over the world the confidence to be ok with themselves, then you are totally wrong! You just make them feel like they are too fat and not perfect enough to be considered a human being. SHAME ON YOU ALL!!!
I hope that the families that Osama Bin Laden destroyed, have found some peace knowing that he got what he deserved. I know it isn’t what you need but at least you know that he’s not going to be around to hurt anyone else, anymore. I send my love and prayers out to those families and I hope his death can help you move on from all the pain he has caused you.
